- Best time: Best winds are often in the autumn and the water is still pretty warm. There is often swells all year around.
The Danish west coast is almost a very long sand beach. It has excellent conditions for surfing and especially in Klitmoller. From Copenhagen it is 500 km (310 miles) and 5 1/2 hours drive. From Goteborg, Sweden it is 2 hours with speed ferry and 163 km (100 miles) or 2 1/2 hours drive in Denmark.

Klitmoller is one of the best spots for surfing in Scandinavia.

Klitmoller is located on the Danish west coast and the swells are rolling in all the way from the UK.

According to the weather servive the waves were approx 4 meters (13 feet) high. Look at the ship’s wobbling.

David from Denmark had a Valley surf kayak. We other had creeking and sea kayaks

Johan is an excellent seakayaker but is also very good at surfing a smaller kayak.
